Possible Castelli Sneak Peak on Leg Ending for 2015

At Eurobike this week, an Instagram user posted this photo of the Italian National Kit and hashtaged Castelli.  It looks to me as though for 2015 Castelli will be increasing the width of their sublimation-printed leg ending.  This is good news!  The leg ending of Castelli bib shorts have great compression.  Also, team sponsors will be able to put company names and logos in a bigger font on the leg endings.  Very excited to see this available to all and hopefully soon. (Warning: I could be entirely mistaken on this.)

Also, since we're paying attention to detail--The makers of this kit clearly wanted ITALIA to be visible from either side.  However, from the front, the leg endings spell LIA-ITA.

Wiggle Exclusive Retro Women's Jersey with New Colorway

Wiggle and Castelli are offering a women's retro style jersey online.  It appears to have come out in 2014 based on the review posted.  The jersey style is the Women's Castelli Team jersey.  It looks a bit like the Prologo 3 Men's Jersey.

The jersey comes in 3 colors: Coral/Anthracite, Teal/Anthracite, and Purple/Anthracite.  Anthracite is a Pantone color; it looks teal-gray.  The fabric is the Prosecco Strada fabric with a dimpled appearance.

W Gabba Sneak Peak 14-15

Women's Gabba Sneak Peak for Winter 2014-15

With a small amount of searching, it is easy to find a sneak peak or two.

This first pic comes from Castelli Cafe's twitter account from February 2014, claiming the women's Gabba jersey comes out next winter (Winter 14-15).  However, it appears one can buy it in the UK and have it shipped anywhere in the world already.  The second picture is from an online UK store named SigmaSport where the jerseys are offered.  

The jersey comes in coral, violet, and black.  Maybe, coral is part of the Winter Women's 2014 color palette.  Coral or rosa pink was popular in fashion circles Spring 2014 so maybe that is how they chose the color?

Castelli Jersey I'd Love in a Women's Fit

One jersey that I like the style of is the Prologo 3 Long Sleeve Jersey.  I know that it is important to have women specific styles, but I just can't help loving the simplicity and retro/preppy look of this baby!  It comes in three colors--I've never seen it in store.  I could try a men's small and see how it goes (just use your imagination to picture some women's headlights there, hehe :P).

Searching for Castelli wear, it is difficult to discern what year each clothing item is from.  Hopefully, these posts will help abate the issue.  According to the castellicafe.co.uk site, the first tri collection came out for the 2013 season.  The body paint collection is, maybe obviously, meant to feel as if it is painted on your skin without rubbing seams (although thank goodness athletes don't do triathlons naked with only some paint! Good one, Castelli!).  The fabric is Velocity at the top and the women's tops have bras in them.

Why Castelli Addict .blogspot .com ?

The reason why I'm starting this page is to give cyclists an idea of what size gear to purchase in Castelli.  For example, I hope to take thigh circumference measurements to help cyclists decide which size bib shorts to buy.

 Also, there is a CastelliCafe blog for ladies by Zoe if you search online but I wanted to give unsponsored fit reviews.  I am not receiving anything (money or products or perks) from Castelli to write this blog.  I hope you enjoy!!!
