Castelli Cycling Sneak Peaks: apparel for Castelli cycling summer '15 released online February 21st, 2015

Castelli Cafe says that new summer apparel will be available for the masses or "the Average Joe" on February 21st!  That is just one week away.  Get ready!  Pros and sponsored racers have already received their Castelli Cycling apparel, as I'm sure you have noticed.

The majority of visits to Castelli Addict are for a search of "sneak peaks."  With some luck I came across these photos posted by Lava Magazine when looking for some other Castelli gear.  I like that these photos show the garments up close as one would see them in a store.

First, shown is the Women's Climber's Jersey in pink.  This jersey has a light front panel behind the zipper for modesty called the "modesty panel," according to Lava Magazine.  Women can unzip and cool down because the panel is barely there but still sewn into the jersey.  I love the color!  It is similar in color tone to the pink Castelli Cycling Elegante Dress in my mind.

New Castelli Triathlon Video is Introspective

There is a new video released by Castelli on February 3rd, 2015.  The best cycling videos are positive, encouraging and ignite some sort of competitive fire in the viewer.  In fact, intervals are an exciting way to make training more fun.

I have no words.

The most creative part of the video is when the triathlete is watching her laundry and sees the spinning machine and door as bike wheels.  Also, the bird chirping is nice. Sizing for Castelli Cycling Men's and Women's Shorts (Help with Castelli Sizing)

Welcome to Castelli Addict--where we hold the secrets to Castelli Cycling's sizing.  We will be filling this chart out over time.  If you would like to contribute with your size and measurements, please send us a note on the CastelliAddict Facebook account.  It would be helpful for many other people.

Size for the Men's L shorts is from the Castelli Free Aero Race Bibshorts from Summer 2014. Size for the Women's M shorts are from the Scarabocchio shorts.  Please keep in mind that the sizing of some of the new gear for this summer (2015) is rumored to be more restrictive than last year.  Measurements of thigh size are with the measuring tape perpendicular to the floor.  Thigh circumferences E and F were added to the chart from Castelli Cycling as shown in green.

Castelli Cycling Women's 2015 Rosso Corsa

Castelli Cycling Women's 2015 Rosso Corsa

For the first time, Castelli has plenty of Rosso Corsa apparel for women cyclists for Winter '14 and Summer '15.  Last summer (2014) Castelli Cycling had Rosso Corsa apparel only for women triathletes.  (see Summer 2015 Catalog link in last post)  Although, for Winter '13, a Rosso Corsa Transparente Women's Jersey was available.

However, as we all know, women can wear men's castelli cycling gear and look great.  Below, is a photo taken by Jered Gruber of his wife, Ashley Gruber. They have a website (http://www.gruberimages.pro/#!/index)!  Her tights look almost like the Men's Sorpasso Bibtights but without the "Rosso Corsa" in the top white line on her quadriceps or more likely, it is part of the Castelli Sanremo Thermosuit.
